Overview

In collaboration with Heriot-Watt University and ADM, BWEng present EOP2025. Intended for female University students studying Engineering degrees in the UK, participants will be provided the opportunity to hear from and network with accomplished individuals including engineers, senior professional in food manufacturing with relevant expertise.

For the duration of the 4 days, students will participate in a multidisciplinary project based on the theme for this year ‘Engineering Solutions for Sustainable Agricultural practices including application of Regenerative Agriculture’ and in a number of workshops including design thinking, CV and LinkedIn Clinic and Personality Diversity. They will also hear from notable keynote speakers and a panel discussion with professionals.

In addition to networking with inspirational speakers and like-minded people, taking part in the programme will enhance your CV with transferable skills  by participating in the Innovative project. With participants working on a multidisciplinary project based on a real-life industry challenge, the programme will give you an insight into how engineers work together in multidisciplinary teams to solve peoblem. On successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded a certificate of participation. Memebers of the winning team will be in the chance of winning prize including work placement with ADM and mentoring opportunities.

How to apply

Eligibility:

To be considered for EOP 2025, you must fulfil the below requirements:

• You must be a university student currently studying for an Engineering degree in the UK. We will consider application from students studying other STEAM degree with interest in manufacturing and agriculture.

• Applicant must have completed 1st year of University by the start of the programme

• Be available to attend the entire 4 days of the programme virtually
